Geographical Limits of Our Services

Arcana Crypto LTD is a UK private limited company (Company No. 16371124) registered at 12 Pullman Gardens, London SW15 3DF. We provide cryptocurrency recovery, blockchain forensic and related services to clients globally, subject to the geographical limits set out below.
Who we cannot currently serve
We are not currently able to accept engagements from:
- persons resident in the United States of America (including all states, the District of Columbia, US Territories and Possessions);
- persons resident in Canada (all provinces and territories);
- companies, partnerships or trusts incorporated or principally based in the United States of America or Canada;
- engagements where the deliverable is intended for use in a court, arbitration or regulatory proceeding of the United States of America or Canada;
- engagements where the recovery would proceed primarily through a court, arbitration or insolvency process of the United States of America or Canada.
Why
Our professional indemnity insurance excludes claims arising out of, or connected with, the United States of America and Canada. We will not accept an engagement that we cannot, in good conscience, insure on a basis appropriate to the work. If you fall within one of the categories above, please contact a recovery firm based in your jurisdiction; we would rather refer you on than expose you to an engagement with uninsured risk.
What if I am dual-national or have ties to the US / Canada?
Where a client is resident in the UK or EU but holds US or Canadian citizenship, US permanent residence, or has secondary US / Canadian addresses, we may still be able to act subject to a written client warranty and where no element of the engagement would proceed in or through the US / Canadian legal systems. If this describes you, contact us via the normal channels and we will assess on a case-by-case basis.
What about US-domiciled exchanges or wallets?
Where the asset you wish to recover is held by a US-domiciled exchange (or one currently in US bankruptcy / receivership), we may not be able to assist directly. We can refer you to firms with US litigation capability where appropriate.
Sanctions screening
Independently of the above, all clients are subject to UK and international sanctions screening (UK OFSI, UN, EU, US OFAC, Canadian SEMA). Clients on a sanctions list or otherwise prohibited from transacting will not be accepted regardless of residence.
